In a global Indeed survey of employers in six countries, most employers (61%) say that although they grasp the concept of skills-first hiring, they’re unclear on what the strategy entails. Removing barriers is one of the most well-known tactics. But even among employers with a defined skills-first hiring strategy, only a small percentage have removed years of experience or degree requirements.
